Terms and Conditions

1. Provider and scope

Qresume is provided by Qresume, Peyman Ahmady, Am Bahnhof 6, 57392, Deutschland. Contact: info@q-resume.com. These Terms apply to use of the website and all contracts concluded through it. Individually agreed terms take priority.

2. Services and technical requirements

QResume provides a web-based editor for creating, editing, saving and exporting résumés, cover letters and related application documents. Templates, AI assistance, storage or exports may be free or paid.

The product description shown immediately before purchase defines the service, duration, total price, AI request allowances, Gold analyses and any download credits. A current browser, internet access and, for account features, a valid email address are required.

Gold is a time-limited package. For the period shown before purchase it includes all listed Pro features and the stated allowance of automated CV-to-job-ad comparisons. Users may select a CV saved in QResume, read a supported local file in the browser or paste text manually.

During active Gold access, users may also have personal CV templates planned by AI from their own design wishes. These templates are stored account-bound in the customer profile and are not added to the public or global template catalogue. Creation may take several minutes and continue as a technical background job; status and result can be retrieved later from the profile.

3. Contract formation

Plans and partner packages are invitations to place an order. Before purchase, the product, duration, total price and payment method are summarised. By using the clearly labelled payment button, the user submits a binding offer involving an obligation to pay.

The contract is formed when the payment provider confirms payment and QResume activates or electronically confirms the relevant access, download credit or partner package. Input errors can be corrected before submission by changing the selection or returning to the previous step.

Acceptance of these Terms and the cancellation information is never pre-selected and is required for every purchase. A separate express request for immediate performance is also required.

4. Prices, payment and duration

The total price displayed immediately before the order, including legally applicable taxes, is decisive. There are no shipping costs. Payment is handled by the payment services offered at checkout; their own terms may also apply.

One-time downloads provide the displayed number of paid exports. Fixed-term Pro access ends automatically at the end of the displayed period and does not renew unless automatic renewal is expressly shown and agreed before purchase.

Gold is valid for one month unless otherwise shown immediately before purchase. It includes all listed Pro features, up to three successful creations with the personal AI template designer, the displayed allowance for AI cover letters or text improvement and the displayed allowance for Gold analyses. Failed, cancelled or unsaved template generations do not count towards this allowance of three. Unused allowances expire at the end of the term, are non-transferable and cannot be paid out. Gold does not renew automatically.

Creating new personal AI templates requires active Gold access. Templates already created remain stored in the respective customer profile after Gold expires and may still be opened, edited or deleted there. Paid exports and other premium services remain subject to the access or download entitlement then available.

While Gold is active, additional allowances for one, two or three further successful AI template generations may be purchased at the price shown immediately before checkout. The add-on only increases the template-generation allowance and does not extend the Gold term. Unused additional generations expire when active Gold access ends; only templates fully generated and saved in the customer profile are counted.

For individual offers, the personal payment link and the information shown there define in particular the topic, scope, total price, buyer details and any validity period. The link is intended for the named customer. Payment automatically activates only digital rights expressly stated in the individual offer; otherwise it initially confirms receipt of payment for the described individual service.

Discounts apply only while valid and for eligible plans. Access may be suspended while a chargeback, payment reversal or unconfirmed payment is investigated.

5. Account and security

An account may be required for purchases and saved content. Users must provide accurate information, protect login details and promptly report suspected misuse.

Users must have legal capacity to contract. Minors may buy paid services only with valid consent from a parent or guardian. Unless otherwise agreed for partners, one account per person is permitted.

6. Pro and Gold Codes, activation codes and partner packages

A single Pro Code activates the stored Pro period for one user account when successfully redeemed. The period normally starts on redemption. Unless stated otherwise, a code may be redeemed once and only during its validity period.

A Gold Code activates the Gold term and analysis allowance stored in that code for the redeeming account. Gold also includes the enabled Pro features during that term. A Gold Code is normally single-use, account-bound, not redeemable for cash and valid only within its stated period.

A Partner Package Code is not an end-user Pro Code. After payment or manual approval, the intended partner may redeem the package code once in their profile. The agreed number of individual Pro Codes is then generated and supplied as a PDF and/or by email. Each generated code can normally be redeemed once by an end-user account.

Codes are not legal tender, cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be combined with other discounts unless expressly stated. Free or goodwill codes do not create a refund claim. Statutory performance, conformity and refund rights remain unaffected for paid codes and packages.

Partners may distribute codes only within the agreed purpose and scope. Public code lists, automated mass redemption, manipulation, repeated use or circumvention of restrictions are prohibited. Codes may be temporarily blocked for substantiated fraud concerns, chargebacks, technical misgeneration or contractual misuse, without prejudice to legitimate purchaser rights.

Individual partner offers may contain additional terms on price, code quantity, Pro duration, distribution, support and intended use. Those individual terms prevail if inconsistent with these Terms.

7. User content and AI features

Users retain their rights in their content and grant QResume only the rights technically necessary to store, process and output it through the selected functions. Illegal content and content infringing third-party rights are prohibited.

AI-generated or improved text is a non-binding suggestion. Users must check accuracy, legality, non-discrimination and suitability. QResume does not guarantee application success and does not provide legal, recruitment or career advice.

The Gold analysis is an automated orientation based on the information supplied by the user. Scores, ATS assessments, identified requirements, keywords, gaps and wording suggestions may be incomplete or incorrect despite careful processing. If the CV clearly indicates a school-student profile, the assessment and suggestions may be adapted to the school context without determining an exact age. They do not guarantee processing by a specific applicant tracking system, an interview, employment or any particular hiring decision.

When a Gold analysis is started, only the text obtained from a selected or locally read CV and the job advertisement are transmitted to the integrated AI service. A cover letter is not part of this check and is processed only through the separate AI cover-letter feature. Users may only submit content they are entitled to process and should avoid unnecessary sensitive personal data. Storage and recipient details are set out in the Privacy Policy.

For the personal AI template designer, design wishes and—only if selected or pasted by the user—CV text are transmitted to the AI service as structural guidance. Profile photos are not sent to the AI. The AI does not create freely executable website code; it produces a QResume-controlled template plan using predefined A4, layout and section components. The generated template is an automated design proposal. Individual wishes may be implemented differently, simplified or omitted for technical, design or contradictory-input reasons. Users must review composition, content, page breaks and suitability before applying and may edit the template afterwards. A unique design, exact implementation of every wish or a particular employer response is not guaranteed. Only a creation successfully saved in the profile counts against the quota. If creation fails or produces an evidently unusable result, the user should contact QResume with the account and approximate time, without sending unnecessary sensitive content. Liability is governed exclusively by section 11; mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

8. Availability and changes

QResume aims to provide reliable availability. Maintenance, security measures, hosting or payment-provider outages and events outside reasonable control may cause interruptions.

Features may be reasonably developed if the core contracted service is not materially impaired. Material adverse changes to an ongoing digital service will be notified in advance where required by law. Mandatory termination and conformity rights remain unaffected.

9. Statutory digital-service rights

For minor technical errors, QResume will review the reported problem and correct it within a reasonable time at no additional cost. Users will not be held responsible, suspended or otherwise disadvantaged because of a technical error on the website.

Consumers retain all mandatory rights for digital content and services. If a digital product is not supplied or is not in conformity, statutory remedies may include bringing it into conformity, a price reduction, contract termination or damages.

Compatibility, functionality, duration and available formats shown at checkout form part of the agreed service. These Terms do not exclude or reduce statutory rights.

10. Cancellation information for consumers

Consumers entering distance contracts generally have 14 days to cancel without giving a reason. For services and digital contracts, the period normally begins when the contract is concluded. An unambiguous statement sent by email or post to the provider before the deadline is sufficient.

If the consumer expressly requests a service to begin during the cancellation period, a proportionate amount may be payable for service already supplied. For services, the right ends only after full performance where the consumer expressly consented and acknowledged that consequence.

For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the right may end when supply begins if the consumer expressly consented in advance, acknowledged the loss of the right and received contract confirmation. Mandatory law at the consumer’s habitual residence remains unaffected.

11. Liability

Liability is unlimited for intent and gross negligence, death or personal injury, product liability and every other case where liability is mandatory by law.

For slight negligence affecting an essential contractual duty, liability is limited to foreseeable loss typical for the contract. Other liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory digital-product rights remain unaffected.

12. Suspension and ending

Free accounts may be deleted on request subject to legal retention duties. Fixed-term access ends automatically. Both parties retain the right to terminate for serious cause.

QResume may suspend functions after a serious or repeated breach, taking the circumstances into account. Where practicable, the user will first be warned and allowed to remedy the breach. Paid entitlements and mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

13. Applicable law and international users

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice does not remove mandatory protection under the law of their habitual residence. Where permitted, the provider’s registered office is the place of jurisdiction for merchants and legal entities.

Language selection does not determine applicable law or country of residence. Consumers in the EU/EEA and the United Kingdom generally have mandatory pre-contract information, cancellation and digital-conformity rights. Additional mandatory local rights remain unaffected.

14. Complaints and dispute resolution

Complaints may be sent to the contact address stated under “Provider”. Unless individually required by law, the provider is neither obliged nor willing to participate in proceedings before a consumer arbitration body.

If a term is ineffective, the remaining terms remain effective and the statutory rule applies in its place.
